Group Dynamics

When I work in groups, I usually come up with some of the ideas.  I talk with the people and do sometimes take leadership, but I also will let other people do the work.  I take that role because I like being able to make things happen.  I like working with friends because it makes it easier to step up and do some of the work, help people if they can't do something, and most of the time I will agree with them.  But some of the bad things about working with my friends are that we will talk more, and get less work done.  The way that I try to resolve problems is that I try to come up with something that combines things if they are arguing about two things, and that usually works.  One thing that I have tried that don't work are agreeing with one person because it gets the other person even more mad.  If some one else tries to take over, or dominate the group, I will try to speak up if I feel like I'm not being listened to.  I will also just wait till the person, or people that are talking over me stop talking.  I think that the most difficult group situation that I've ever been in is that all of the people in my group were not thinking the same thing, or wanting to do the same thing as each other.  The best group situation that I've been in is that I was with all of my friends and got all of the work done on time.
